      I'm new here...

      Hello everyone,
This was supposed to be my first post, but I went to look to see what other people were writing and couldn't help but reply to one...
Anyway, I started looking into lucid dreams about 3 years ago, and have had a few sucesses, but less than I like.
I have been noticing a few things about sleep that don't have a lot to do direclty with lucid dreaming, but have more to do with memory, happiness, and generally being on top of my game.
I solved some problems I had with dropping off to sleep, my biggest problem has been with remembering my dreams until I have gotten to a point that I can write them down. I generally remember them first thing, but I can;t really just sit up in bed and write them down. (I get up MUCH earlier than my wife and I don't like to wake her up)
I have had a few good experiences with BWGen, though it was not a lucid dream, and a lucid experiences either natural or using WILD. (I've never had success with MILD, each dream experience that I recall has very different circumstances than all the rest, and the situations I attach the intention to never seem to crop up again...
I do have better luck with recall when I succeed in instructing myself to wake completely up at each sleep cycle, but I don't remember to do that often.
Anyway, That's where I'm coming from.
Oh yeah, My user name has no particular significance, it's the first thing that popped into my head when my usual logins were reported to be 'taken or not appropriate'...

Hey, onionpeeler (brings tears to my eyes).

I know it can be hard on lucid dreaming efforts when you share a bed with some one but it's not impossible (my first near-lucid experience was when I shared a bed). Hopefully you can figure out some ways to work around that. You're somewhat experienced so that's a good start.

      Welcome and enjoy your stay.
