Hey there, |
|
So last night, I was trying to sleep. Nothing special, just trying train myself to remember my non-lucid dream (since I don't have lucids, or even vivid dreams yet). I have aread a little on WILDs, so I did the 1 I'm dreaming 2 I'm dreaming thing, thikning it would hopefully get me to sleep faster. Instead, my body felt very heavy, and I felt like I couldn't move my arms (I was on my back) Then my mind wandered and I felt even heavier, and when I went back to 1 I'm dreaming...etc. it felt lighter. It was really strange, and I didn't see any hypagonic or whatever things, just the normal (dim) lights flashing across my eyelids. What was going on?? |

Just for an expansion; the hypnagogic imagery, vibrations, and all the hypnagogia hallucinations happens later once you've gone further with WILD. Don't try to seek for those: when you face them the first time, you WILL notice it, believe me. Expecting the hallucinations may make you feel excited and unable to go on with WILD. |

Saying quantum physics explains cognitive processes is just like saying geology explains jurisprudence.
Most definitely, Kromoh. I was doing the same thing kcat is talking about last night and I jumped off the bed right after with the same feeling... "WHAT WAS THAT?!" lol I was so excited because I thought I might be WILDing but it turns out you can't do that right when you go to bed... I got as far as kcat did but also, like you said Kromoh, my heart began to race and I got excited to the point where I thought I would lose it! I didn't until i consciously decided to stop, though, so that shows i got mind over matter going for me! |

The only problem is that I wasn't trying to WILD. I was trying to sleep... I wasn't all excited (well maybe a little) I just thought it felt weird. Argh, now if I feel it again hopefully I won't get excited at all and THINGS will come to me. ooh!! |
