Therectially, it should be possible. But if you do have a LD, it will be low-quality and short. All REM periods before 5-6 hours are usually like this. Not every time, but usually. |

I know that you need 5-6 hrs of sleep for a WILD, but it it possible to achive one after a 2-3 hour nap (ugh, a looong nap)? Since it's really hard for me to hear my alarm when it's in the middle of the night, and I'd like to at least try WILD, it would be nice to do one in the afternoon. |

I think it is definately possible to achieve a WILD during the day, it may be harder but you could always try it when napping, its worth a go, it is harder because you have daylight and outside noises which are not normally present at night and it may make things harder for you, however do feel free to try but make sure you get a nice REM period because if you get an earlier REM period you may find it harder. |

If your alarm doesn't work I always try altering it just a bit with mine I was so used to the exact tone and time it woke me up that I would subconsciously turn it off before I was fully awake, many times resulting in me waking up 1-2 hours after the designated alarm (missed many classes |
