      Would apreciate help getting lucid

      Hi,

For the last 4-6 months, I have been trying on and off to start having lucid dreams. My dream recall is pretty good (about 1-3 dreams a night as long as I write down 1 or 2 a week), but I can't seem to get the lucidity aspect of it. RC's are useless for me because I can never remember to do them. If I could it would be fine because I can just think 'Does this feel like a dream?' and if it's a dream, then things feel... different. I have tried WILD's, but I always end up thinking too much, so I stay awake, or not enough, so I fall asleep.

Since this may end up taking quite some time, I had planned to go for adoption, but I didn't since I would have to wait 2 weeks, plus I wouldn't want to risk being one of the people who just gets left on the adoption page with 0 replies after a week or so.

Anyway, please do help if you can. I REALLY want to learn to do this.

Yeah, try looking at the Main Website for Dreamviews, and the Tutorials section. These should get you started. If you have any questions about any of them, feel free to ask!

Welcome to DV, ShadowSand. Even if you don't remember to do RC's during your dream, they still help you to remember to be aware, particularly if you do them whenever you see a dream sign. One of those times, even if you don't actually do an RC, you will be dreaming and you will become lucid.

As far as being adopted, I suggest figuring out who you think could help you by spending some time here, and then asking someone who you think could help you to adopt you. I've never gone looking for an adoptee, I just waited for someone to ask me.

Hey ShadowSand and to Dream Views

You have already made some great progress with your recall so far at remembering 1-3 dreams a night which is excellent. The best thing you can do is stop thinking/worrying to much, continue building your recall as you are now, make it better and enjoy recording your dreams, i think things are not working for you because you are simply working too hard. Seriously, anyone can do RC's, you just have to get into it, starting is hard but once you get the first day or two out the way it becomes habit and gets easier. Just give it a go, RC's can work wonders you know, don't give up on them, they truly can work if you give them a chance. Since you have a good recall it would be a shame for you not to use RC's because i think that they would be your best bet considering your dream recall is so high. Listen, i don't think you should try any other techniques just yet, if you want to talk about this until your able to be adopted i am more than happy to chat with you and put you on track Just send me a PM if your interested, please don't hesitate to ask anymore questions either.
