      Argh!

Yesterday I decide to get into lucid dreaming, last night I had a dream... and when I woke up I could remember enough of it to write some stuff down, but I got up and went to the bathroom, by the time I realised I should have written some of this stuff down I forgot my dream!

lesson learned : From now on I keep my laptop on sleep mode next to my bed

      lovely.

that's a shame. though it's possible to regain the memories even now.
You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.

      Welcome,

You dont' need a laptop to write down your dreams, just have a notepad and pen and you'll do fine.

      spiral

      NeAvO's right.

I keep an open small memo pad with a pen clipped to the spiral binding next to my pillow. When I wake up from dream, I don't turn on the lights, nor open my eyes.. I just reach for the pad and start writing.

Also, you don't have to write a "book" about the dreams you had in your journal. For me, if I'm too tired (or lazy), simply writing down the main topic/subject, and a word or two or a feeling is enough for me to recall a dream.

Some people just write snippets of their dreams.. others write paragraphs, some put images, or feelings, others draw pictures.. whatever helps to bring a dream back to you when you read over it the next morning is appropriate.

      You’re not alone!
I have this problem at times. But with more dream practice you will get better with you’re recall. It’s not a long-term problem. Its’ short term.
While in this stage try not to get so discouraged that you leave the forum. PLEASE STAY WITH US!!!
