Hi folks. Signed up today after finding this excellent community and thought I'd better introduce myself. I think it's great when you find a little corner of the web dedicated to achieving the same goals as yourself.

I live in Scotland and am 24 years old. I've been practicing a few techniques over the last week or so. Managed to boost my dream recall and form a habit of reality checking. Came very close to a WILD a few hours ago, but became aware of being awake after counting to about 600

Reality check passed unfortunately. Hopefully the hard work will pay off soon!

Hey welcome to the forum, getting a few new members from Scotland recently. I was up your way on Sunday/Monday - Flew into Glasgow.

How you doing? And how did you find us? Also how did you get into lucid dreaming? Have you had any lucid dreams yet?

I was busy searching for more articles on lucid dreaming and stumbled across this forum. I had read about it years ago and I've always been fascinated with dreams, hypnosis, and things like that. To be honest, last week I just kinda had the idea pop into my head. I started searching and began practicing.

As I've got a little older, I have been recalling less and less dreams. Since logging my dreams, it's become much easier.

I've not actually had a lucid dream yet. I used to have very vivid dreams as a kid, sleepwalking, and even false awakenings. A false awakening as a child isn't too great if you really have to pee, if you know what I mean!

haha we know what you mean! I found the older I got the worse my recal got - although now working on it I get about 5/6 dreams a night recalled when trying to Lucid - otherwise 2 or 3

Naa, there not mine, I reckon they're pretty cute though.

I do have a cat, He's a chocolate burmese. Only about 6 and a half months. I actually didn't make the sig pic either. That was by Lucid Seeker here on DV.
