!!! At last.....beyond DAYdreaming....

Anyway, I'm Marquis. I'm just starting lucid dreaming. And after weeks of failure, I've decided that I need a support group and *tada*, here I am.

Hi there. I joined dreamviews back in 2004, started with a bang and then moved overseas (from New Zealand) for a couple of years and forgot all about dreaming. For some reason I've started thinking about it again, and especially about OBEs.

To me the OBE is the big unanswered question. Laberge and Green think that OBEs are just Wake Induced Lucid Dreams. Having experienced neither I want to try to induce an OBE and see if it is the same as a Lucid Dream. I've had many Lucid Dreams over the years, so it should be easy to judge.

The author's CDT, or Consciousness Deepening Technique, makes a lot of sense to me. It seems like a practical exercise that can be tried for a few months and should make a difference. At the very least it is going to make us a lot more aware of the state between being awake and being asleep. If we happen to lower the borderline between consciousness and subconsciousness then that is a bonus.

whoa.....freaking awesome avatar DreamSeal...(whered u get it?) anyway I went through that link and its looks interesting. I have such a hard time even attempting WILDs and SP....I tend to like...twitch a little... its SO hard for me to focus when I'm just lying there... once my whole arm lifted up and stayed up for about a second and then dropped back down lol! Anyone else have this happen to them when trying to dive into SP WILDing? Twitching?

I dunno maybe im just wierd.

Twiches are almost necessary to SP. That kind of thing happens. As for your arm going up... well thats unusual, but not unheard of.
