      Thanks, guys!

Yeah, VILD definitely sounds promising, and not scary at all, unlike WILD. I believe I'll be focusing on the VILD technique both for lucid and non-lucid dreams incubation. While I don't think I'm quite ready to become lucid yet as my dream recall is only about 3-5 on a scale of 10, I might go ahead and start trying to get lucid dreams that way.

Necco - Awesome, I didn't think anyone else on here would remember Star Blazers. I chose my username from that specifically because watching that cartoon is my earliest memory of childhood and would therefore make a great "dreamviews" persona for me as it draws very deeply out of my past.

How many dreams do you remember per night?
The main reason for developing recall first is so that you remember your LD. What's the point of having non-memorable ones?
      2-3 a night is sufficient.

Well, since I started keeping a DJ on Monday morning, it's went like this:

Monday Morning - 2 dreams, pretty good detail on both and can still remember "feelings" I had in both dreams

Tuesday Morning - 2 dreams, only managed one detail from each and can't remember anything else about them

Wednesday Morning - 2 dreams, the first I remember nothing about except the fact that I had a dream, but the second was just as detailed as the two dreams from Monday Morning

      Thursday Morning - None

Friday Morning - just 1 dream, but again, very detailed like the two from Monday and the second one from Wednesday

What I tend to do is I go to bed between 12am and 4am, sleep until 8:30am, get up and have breakfast, go back to bed until 10:15am

The days I've had two dreams, I had one during the night, and then one during "nap" time, but the first one on Wednesday faded before I could write it down.
