      Hello everybody

      Hi all.

I will thank the heavens for the extended study break I took this afternoon (although the info I found made it difficult to get back to studying). I have found all the information on this site/forums enthralling.

I haven't had a lucid dream yet, but I have been trying to remember my dreams for quite awhile (for my own benefit). At least once a week I experience extreme deja vu, and can actually remember EVERY aspect of the dream from earlier in the week.

After reading a lot of posts I think I will start trying to have a lucid dream...it sounds great.

I seem to have strayed from my original intro goal of this post. I'm adam, psychology graduate student in Memphis TN.

Sorry for the long intro yall, wish me luck

      Adam

to Dreamviews Adam! We have another user by that name. Very active around here
It's great you're working on dream recall, it's basically necessary to LD. Actually, it's totally necessary if you want to remember your LDs, which of course you want to do
If you decide you've got any questions, just post and we'll try to get you a moderately acceptable answer.

Thanks for the welcome, there is one waking state that I have most often, I am not sure if it happens to other people (but surely it does).

Sometimes when I wake up, it feels like I had just gone to sleep. Its almost like I blink and its morning. When I wake up like this I can usually recall some vague recollections of my dreams, I can normally tie the dream actions to how my body feels (like my body (muslces and such) in the morning and that helps me put together what happened.

This happen to anyone else or am I just wierder than I thought?

      G'night guys

It happens to everybody at some time or another. I'm not sure what the cause is, though.

I have the same experiences. I think its pretty neat that you are a psychology major, what kind? Anyways, I wish you good luck in lucid dreaming!

Thanks for the welcome TimeKeep, nice photo by the way, haven't played that final fantasy in awhile.

To answer your question I am studying for school psychology, good job market, I like the material, and pretty decent pay. Lots of work though, well enough of my study break....need more COFFEE!!!!!

Eh, the major is going well, graduate school is VERY different than undergraduate (professors almost treat you like a human being now). So it is taking a little getting used to but, at least I am succeeding in my courses (although I'm running out of hair to pull out :-/)
