      new to forums

HI I'm new to the forums. Obviously for such an exciting topic I have a few questions I was wondering ,for those of you who are experienced with this sort of thing, how good are you at lucid dreams? Do you instantly go to sleep and then start flying around new York city? I would defiantly like to try this any suggestions?

      Hello, to Dreamviews!
I have LDs about once a month, but lately with school and everything I'm not trying at all. The only thing I do is reality check during the day. Some people here are natural lucid dreamers; they don't even try and they can get one every night.

Most people can get 1-2 a week if they try, even if they are not naturals. Make sure you read over the main website, and the Tutorials. Practice some of those, and of course always reality check, and I'm sure you'll be able to get LDs pretty frequently

If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

      to Dreamviews, Skippyilove.

Is there a significance to your name or are you just in love with "Skippy"?

In partial answer to your question, attaining Lucidity is a talent that can be learnt but like anything, some people are better at it than other and some are natural. I suppose I am in the "Natural" category but it took me 49 years to realise and achieve it. That was when I had my first LD and as a result found this site. It is a fantastic experience and well worth the effort to achieve.

Good luck and best wishes from the old man from down under. We have heaps of "Skippy the kangaroo's" down here......
