mmm try to look at something quite often in teh day, like youre watch or hands, look them every 1 hour or so these helos in youre dresm because when you get to it, in youre dream you will see youre hand, watch or whatever you watch and see is extrange so u will become aware youre dreaming =)

It's great that you've started a dream journal and started doing Reality Checks (aka RCs, or as you called them, awake checks).

As for LD strategies, a good attitude is infinitely helpful. Always believe that a technique will work, and that you can (and will) LD. There are also tons of resources here at Dreamviews to help you get your first LD. Check out the Tutorials, there's tons of useful tutorials there to help you LD.

Some other useful links are the Acronym List, which should help you understand posts around here, and the Newbie Zone Sticky should help understand the forum itself. Also be sure to read the Dreamviews main page.
