Long time Dreamer first time poster

I just wanted to say hello, and that I thought it was time that I should post and start asking questions about Lucid dreaming.

I feel I have finally begin to start taking control of my dreams, but I am having a hard time keeping them lucid.

      A example was last night:

(This is why I also decided to start posting because I am sick of losing control.)

I was standing at a gas station in the parking lot, when a horse carriage with a ghost riding it was coming after me.

I put my hand up to block the ghost coming to me, my hands came down so I could see if it was still coming at me and I then thought "Hey put my hands up again" When I did this I became Lucid and I shouted "I did it again! YES! Lucid dreaming BABY!"

(100% of the time now when I see my hands I remember about my daily hand checks and it starts my Lucid dreaming)

I looked at the ghost and said "NO! Go away!" It went away. I then spun around and told the city to disappear. Complete Whiteness everywhere. I then waved my hand and said "New City, at night." As my hand waved past a new city became clear.

I started to fly like I usually do in all my dreams. Then the sad part like always I freaking lose control in flight and then I dont remember anything after that.

Any tips on how to stay in control. I feel like I have read everything and it just seems to be coming down to training.

Anyways Thanks for your time and input.

I'm going to guess that you got too excited. Excitement will usually destabilize a dream, either ending it, making you wake up, or decreasing your lucidity. Next time, try calming down as soon as you become lucid. Stabilize yourself first, feel objects, look around. Always make sure that you're not too excited. Do a lot of RCs in the dream too.

      I hope this helps!

If you like posting your dreams here, why don't you start a dream journal?

Hello there my friend, to Dreamviews! As Webmaster said, you might want to try out an online dream journal. People can leave some quite encouraging advise there aswell.
There is no real-life, there is only AFK.

Although it tends to be more spam-like

As for staying in Control, I can suggest not focusing on the fact that your flying (I know, its astounding and all) But if you just think of it as a big jump- You should be fine.
You reveal that a reveal check reveals nothing.
