      Hey/what was this?

Okay so after a while of visiting this forum i've decided to join.

I've just woken up from something and I don't know what it was...

I was in a nap, and all of a sudden, I was completely aware that I was in my bed. I instantly thought 'Wow, my first wild'. Eventhough I had completely lost consciousness when I had fallen asleep.
The first thing I did was roll out of my body, but I had trouble getting further than the end of my bed. After a frustrating time of continuous rolling and attempting to stand, I had a false awakening which I ruled out with a RC. Then followed another false awakening. This time I sat up, and looked at the TV. What I had been watching and incidently what was on whilst I was having the dream, was what I was looking at during my false awakening. I then looked at the clock, which said 5:15. I thought to myself, well I've been asleep a while so the time is definitely right. Therefore I must be awake. (I didn't think to RC again). After this I blacked out and woke up properly in my bed.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what this was, as during it, the whole time I was thinking 'On Dreamviews, this would be considered a wild'. But surely it wouldn't because i was asleep when it happened?

      Thanks for reading

Hey, Soph. Glad you decided to join us.

I think it might have been a DILD, that started in a false awakening. If you, in fact, had completely lost consciousness and then, all of a sudden, knew you were in your bed, then maybe it was just a false awakening where you knew, instantly, that you were dreaming?

Dunno, that's kind of a tough one to catagorize. We'll see what some others have to say about that.

      See ya around.

Hello Soph and welcome to the forum

Yup I'd say that was a DILD too, a WILD is going straight into a lucid dream however you seemed to go out of consciousness and then realise you were dreaming. As you said the rest were FA's.
