      DC Experiment

I can't imagine this working, but I read on a website that "You can also ask a dream character to tag along with you and remind you when you forget that you’re dreaming." Has anybody ever tried this with any success? It sounds like a neat experiment.

that sounds interesting, but i doubt it would work for me because my dream characters always argue with me that i am not dreaming, i dont think I could convince them to remind me that i am dreaming one i forget... but i suppose if i EXPECT them to remind me it might work??

Give it a try! Perhaps instead of using a "regular" DC, try finding your dream guide who might be more reliable.

How extraordinary! I love experimenting with dream characters. I will be sure to try this, especially because I lose lucidity so easily, I'm sure asking a dream character for help couldn't hurt!

This is an interesting idea, i have been conversing with dream characters in my lucids lately (which i never used to do) as an experiment to see if you can have realistic and lifelike conversations with them and i have found that you can. The problem i find with this is that dream characters are always trying to tell you that you are not dreaming so the chances of them helping you are not great.

to Dreamviews (if I haven't said that already)!

That's a good idea, I've heard of people trying it. They had moderate success, although you'll have to try to find a decently intelligent DC. A lot of them aren't very bright and will get distracted as easily as you.

Dang, I gotta try that. Sounds way too good to be true, though. If it does work, mine would probably die somehow after I meet it.

Whoa! That's definintely the most interesting thing i've read all day, But seeing as my DCs never really like me- The chances of it working for me are slim. I know that in dreams where i am Lucid, and then forget i am Lucid- Whomever takes me over usually dismisses everything i created.

So it would probably work out like,

      "Sir! You are dreaming, remember?"
"What did you call me! Get lost!"
      "Bwaah... Melts away"
You reveal that a reveal check reveals nothing.
