      Question on DILDs

So i have decided I pretty much want to avoid WILDs due to the horror stories i have heard of SP incidents. I have done DILDs before, but usually the thought that i might be dreaming comes to me without even seeing something abnormal, and then proceeding to do a rc. In my dreams my mind just seems to accept everything as it is, because im not conscious enough to even question why someone floating would be out of the ordinary. Im wondering if there is a way to increase my ability to question my surroundings in dreams more. Right now im doing the RC's while im awake, the hand technique and MILDS, as well as the WBTB.

Another question would be, is it possible to be consistent with DILDS? or are WILDs the only sure way of doing it?

I find that I have much better success with DILDs when I make RCing a habit instead of just doing it when something strange happens. Somewhere I heard that you need to do at least 21 a day for you to successfully do them in your dreams. Sounds high, but it's not that bad.

You can be consistent with any technique, and none is 100% effective, so you know.
