Yup...what i do when I'm in SP (which happens to me 'unintentionally), I try to focus on something (i.e. go to the window). Cause if I say to myself that I can't move, my tendency is to fall back to sleep...

Sounds like the start of an OBE rather than a Lucid dream.

      Which is cool!

No, what he experienced was the beginning of sleep paralysis, and those feelings are very common during sleep paralysis.

I just didn't want you to think something paranormal was going on here

      ^Probably

You can probably WILD from there. Try one of these things, when you feel the tingling:
-rolling over, without actually moving your real body
-imagine something dragging you across your bed
-try to feel like you are sinking threw the bed
-imagine getting pulled toward a light at a end of a tunnel

just do what ever works for you. What happened with me was that I used to be able to roll out of my body, and that stopped working for me. then I tried getting dragged accross the bed and it worked immediatly for me. Sometimes when I wake up in the middle of the night I'm able to do that with out being in SP or feeling the tingling. Feeling like I'm being dragged accross my bed will make the tingling start, something you might want to try if you were conciously initiating the tingling
