      Ld#1!!!

WELL!, I am new to this site!, I have been trying to LD for a little over 2 weeks now...and...as the post says...LD#1...it was so incredibly Awesome (the feeling) very very very cool lol, My friend Magus got me involved into this. I first laughed at him, was a little Skeptic/scared about the whole idea, i was thinking it was like Astral Projection...but its so much fun lol, my first LD was very long, and i had control over everything, I mean, it was extremely cool ^_^! I wasn't even hoping to LD, I am still training my Dream Recall lol, I just happened to realize my clock was changing every time i looked at it...and random ass times too! so I did a few reality checks and BAM!, I hope all you still trying get your first LD soon, and I hope I get another one tonight .

PS. Thanks for all your posts they helped , but mainly thanks to Mags, got most of the stuff from him lol, Happy LDing!.

      Welcome to Dream Views!!
Keep up the good work, eventually you'll get so good that you can have a lucid dream every day!
Have you ever had a dream, Neo, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?

Congrats on your LD and welcome.

From your description of events, you were not trying to LD, just learning the basic skills necessary and the LD came to you.
That is something I have been saying a lot to newbies lately and I hope that they take a lesson from you.

It is hard to describe the sensation and experience that a LD brings and I can understand your anxiety to repeat it. Remember that anxiety and frustration can (and will) inhibit your prospects at having a LD so take it easy and try not to get dissappointed if it does not happen immediately.

First of all, thanks for the warm welcome and the compliments Guys ^_^!

And, YES!, I know, you can't really put it into words that would express the actual feeling , and the Anxiety thing...uff, If i hadn't been warned about it before hand by mags I would have lost lucidity right then, I almost woke up, I had to try and calm down while rubbing my hands, it was hard but I did it!, even after it takes a bit of concentration to actually stay asleep? >_<, I'm still not remembering dreams everyday so I'll just train dream recall until I can remember at least 2 a night because I haven't remembered a single one for the last few nights T_T, the alarm clock might have something to do with it...

For now I will just try to catch the random LD whenever I realize it . Again, thanks for the warm welcome! really making me feel at home lol. Happy LDing!

      Sweet.

Last night I was also training my dream recall. I hadn't remembered a dream for forever. Last night I remembered 2. The second I became lucid for a little bit before I woke up. It was interesting.
