      Hello

      Hi Everyone

I would just like to say a big hello.
I have always been interested in lucid dreaming but had never really given it a good go. Recently my dreams have become much more vivid although I put this down to taking the Holosync meditation course over the last 6 months.

      Welcome to the forum

Here's a the Newbies Quick Start Guide which should help you with how the forum works.

So what are your experiences with lucid dreaming? Also do you have a dream journal? It's highly recommended that you use one as it improves your recall.

Hi again guys and thanks for the warm welcome

My experiences with lucid dreaming are rather limited, although I often wake up and just know that I was aware of my dreams but on waking I cannot remember! Is this common and is it the fact that I need to practice on my dream recall?

Yep it is common to forget dreams, even lucids.
If you want to work on your recall, then I think everyone here will tell you that a dream journal is the best way.
Just write a summary of anything at all that you can remember from your dreams when you wake up, even if there's hardly anything at all. This will probably increase your recall right away.

      Hey Adrazz, Welcome to Dreamviews,

Unless you are a natural, becoming lucid requires developing the skills and the first two basic skills are improving dream recall, by keeping a dream journal and writing down as much as you remember of your dream as soon as you wake, the second is doing frequent reality checks and making it a habit, eventually you will do one during a dream and become lucid. Dont "try" to become lucid at this early stage, let it come to you by gaining the skills first.

Having a LD is an absolutely fantastic and unbelievable experience and well worth the effort developing the skills.

      Good luck and again, Welcome.
