      First Lucid Dream

HI, i had my first lucid dream last night and as soon as i realized i was dreaming i jumped out the nearest window and managed to fly
but as soon as i landed i couldn't do it anymore even tho i tried throughout the dream
i could also change the colour and model of cars and all of my own actions, which was weird because i was having a nightmare at the time but when i looked at my watch the time kept changing so i realized i was dreaming and the masked men with guns chasing me just disappeared. anyway once i realized i was dreaming i flew around the tops of skyscrapers, then i found out i couldn't die and ran into walls (which still hurt in my dream...strangely)
then started driving cars into buildings.
after i forgot i was dreaming i dreamed some rubbish like i usually do, then had a false awakening where i ended up sitting down in my house, the watch technique didn't work this time and i believed i was awake so i went into the kitchen to make a cup of coffee and seen myself lying on the floor with my eyes open, which instantly woke me up.
when i did wake up i could remember the dream completely, it seemed so real it was unbelievable the amount of detail in everything, the clouds were moving in the sky, cars and plants and people had as much detail and colour as in real life, I've never dreamed that way before, or at least haven't remembered it in so much detail.
i think lucid dreaming helps a lot with my nightmares but something scary always happens in my dreams.

      Hey Zondionic.

Congratulations on your first Lucid. Magic arn't they. How about trying to explain the LD experience to someone who has not had one - impossible???

As you develop your lucid dreaming skills you should be able to control your nightmares and turn them around into a pleasant dream. Good luck.
