      Hello, I'm new.

I'm new here and am interested in seeing what this situation below is classified as.
Since I was 7 or so I remember dreaming in this format:
      1) I/Something would do nonsensical dream stuff and it is rather pleasant.
      2) I would come to the realization that I am having a dream.
      3) I then would tell someone within the dream that they in fact are not real.
      4) The dream denizens would then become hostile, and hostility would seem to emanate from everything.

After 2-4 weeks of ^this^ when I realized that I was in a dream I would just play along nervously knowing that it wasn't real.
It felt as if I had no control.

Once this^ stuff subsided when I was 10 to would get night terrors relating usually relating to hostile extraterrestrials.

Then I started to forget dreams more and more as I would generally avoid sleep until the last possible moment.

You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.

Welcome to the forum. I'm sorry to hear about the terrors, do you think that they could be a form of HI caused from SP?

Yeah, Ophelia is scaring me, too.

Welcome to Dreamviews! Nonsensical dream stuff is pleasant. Among the better feelings in the world, in my opinion, to be doing things that make no sense and to remain completely placated.

I surely hope your sleep habits improve, maybe with a little help from the users here. Are the "terrors" nightmares or hallucinations (if you can tell)?

      I thought that it was
Not nightly terrors, I would get night terrors (Those Bad, bad nightmares that leave you wide-eyed for five minutes after you wake up).
But it recently dawned on me that my fear of aliens came from a later source(I can't seem to remember any particularly terrible stuff involving aliens for some reason, just a feeling of being watched whenever I'm not preoccupied with something else.). Mostly the night terrors would be about random stuff
(ie. Snuff McGruff, a man-sized bipedal trench-coat wearing detective/narcotics mascot, would slowly open one of the doors with a #Well now I can't remember much else about it except that I was petrified staring at him, waiting for whatever he was going to do.)

Welcome to the forum. I'm sorry to hear about the terrors, do you think that they could be a form of HI caused from SP?
What do you mean by HI and SP?

I surely hope your sleep habits improve, maybe with a little help from the users here. Are the "terrors" nightmares or hallucinations (if you can tell)?
      The terrors are nightmare type.

      ////END of that^ section

Ironically enough, I had multiple lucid dreams yesterday that I recall were pleasant again.
I even employed spinning to reboot the dream(I before I was lucid I noticed that I couldn't speak, so strangely enough I began to spin as if by reflex and THEN noticed that I was in a dream) .

Thanks for your concern and it currently seems like the night terrors/nightmares are starting to fade.
