Dear Prudence, greet the brand new day.

Well you said this happens when something good happens...try spinning or rubbing hands. Or the most logical one would be keep your composure. it is easy to have this happen if you become to excited

Are you lucid at the time or is it just a regular dream?

If it is lucid you may want to try and do a stabalising technique. This could be something as simple as rubbing your hands (dream hands) or looking at them. You could just try and sit back for a little while and just take in the scenery of the dream.

I've had a dream that was just starting, and before I could walk very far in the dream, it faded. I realised it was a dream, and I made myself picture the begining of the dream again, and it brought it back. For a while. I walked a little further than I did the first time, and it faded again. I visualized the start again, it came back from the begining, and I got further still in my exploring. After bringing it back 3 times, it went away, and I haven't been able to do that since...yet.

Maybe trying to visualize a previous part of the dream, kind of try to rewind it, you may be able to get it back instead of it fading away.
All is not what it seems in your dreams.
