I'm not an expert at this, I've been out of practice for months, but I seem to remember a suggestion about doing a reality check whenever something unusual happens, or if you recognize a dream sign from your dreams, do it whenever you see the dream sign in reality. Example: If your dream sign is a cat, when you see a cat, do a RC. |

Oh, I'm sure something out of the ordinary happens to you at times. I'm not saying it is the only time to do a RC, it's a great time to do one, whenever you notice anything strange. |

The Door one would be effective -- i mean, you're bound to come across a door in your dreams. Unfortunately, i tried it, and the same thing happened every time: i'd go through a door, 5 minutes later be like "oh, crap!" and then do an RC, or just forget to do it. Doors are so common you don't even think about it. |
