      Thumbs up Hello To Everyone (Time travel)

      Hello to everyone!! I joined today. This is a great site! I'm glad I found you.

      In the past I have had random lucid dreams by accident, however it is only in the last 3 weeks that I have started reading up and trying to lucid dream intentionally after watching the films "Vanilla Sky" and "The Good night".

      After 2 weeks of study and practice I had my first induced lucid dream (DILD) which included flying and teleportation, and it was totally awesome.

      Since then I have had a one low level of lucidity dream, two wake ups on becoming lucid, and two nights ago another high level of lucidity dream in which I managed to time travel back to 1994 and meet up and have sex with an old girlfriend. Although I did wake up before the sex ended.

      The time travel method I used was as follows: Before bed I wrote down the name of the girl, the location and the year, and said it over and over. Then while going to sleep I did the MILD technique after doing WBTB. After becoming lucid I said the phrase over and over as I was spinning. I was then teleported through a spinning time tunnel (doctor who style) which started out as grey and white and then went into colour.

      The next thing I knew I was at the correct location in 1994 and I found my girlfriend by asking a dream character where she was . I was totally amazed!

      I am really excited by the potential of lucid dreaming and looking forward learning more from lucid dreamers on this site.

      Those are some cool Lucid Experiences - it would be great to time travel in Lucid Dreams and of course in real life too All the things you could change if you went back in time!

      Hi, welcome to Dream Views.

      That's an interesting batch of dream control you had in that longer lucid. Sounds like you're starting off on the right foot. Great to have you and with your experience perhaps you can teach as well as learn from other members.

      Thanks Namaste, Vex Kitten, and Clairity, for such an encouraging welcome, I really appreciate it.

      I'd be very interested to hear anyone else's lucid dreams in which they time travelled, and what techniques they have used.

      Last night my plan was to get lucid and travel back to 1972 to meet the actress Cindy Williams on the set of my favorite film (The Conversation). I did not become lucid on this occasion but I will try again tonight!

      Eventually I want to go back to important moments in history and observe the events first hand, for example J.F.K. assassination. Has anyone else been able to achieve this kind of experience?

      I haven't time traveled very often while lucid. The one time that sticks out in my mind though is when we did a lucid task where we had to go back into our past and change something about it. (or something along those lines)

      I did, it was an interesting experience and one I actually should try again. I don't have any place I feel the need to go back to though. When I think of something good I may give it another shot.

      Hi Vex Kitten!

      I've time travelled twice so far. Once to 1994 and once to 1986. I get a real buzz out of it. When I arrived back to 1986 I was naked, I looked down and in my hand was a black case. I opened it and it had clothes of mine in it from 1986. Totally mind blowing.

      When I get lucid I feel I have some secret knowledge that DCs don't have and when I travel back in time this feeling increases due to the fact that I'm from the future.

      I'm getting a list together of people and places I intend to visit for example Che Guevara, Cuba, 1960. And I also want to meet my younger self, but not to try and change anything, just for a chat.
