Ahh, yes. This has happend to me before too. Isn't this sort of like Deja Vu? Or is that something different.

Anyways, I have experienced this before. But it wasn't as extreme as a plane crash. My family was on vacation, and I had a dream that we took a trolley for a tour around the town we were visiting. On the trolley, our driver stopped the vehicle and rang her bell at a pedestrian walking down the road.

The next day, it happened. Just like I remembered..

My Dad's a truck driver. Thanksgiving, he told me that he was sleeping in his truck in the sleeper one night and dreampt he was driving behind a vehicle that came to a sudden stop. The dream was so vivid, he woke up with his foot trying to find the break.

Two weeks later, he was driving along and recognised the vehicle in front of him as the one from his dream. He slowed down, shifted down, slowed a bit more, and just as had happened in the dream, the vehicle's break lights came on. This time, when it was really happening, Dad had enough time to stop his semi truck.

My sister told me she'd fallen asleep reading a book, but dreampt that she was reading it. When she woke up and continued reading from where she fell asleep, she remembered reading it word for word from the dream. And she'd never read it before.

Sometimes, I think dreams are previews of events to come.
All is not what it seems in your dreams.

Yes, the mind is a strange thing.

I know I've had several times when I've "Dremt the future" though I can't recall them all. Probably just because it wasn't a major event.

I swear to God that I've had this one dream twice in my life, at the ages of 7 and 10 give or take, where I was in my house, but the walls had this weird patina, rusted, or torn/worn look (think silent hill, or maybe just a sepia filter), and there was dead ivy climbing the walls in places. Anyhow, as I walked by my side door were these disembodied legs in some hosiery that was tied to the doorknob and they were running in place. I remember maggots too.
Weird dream right? Almost like a nightmare (but dreams have never scared me). Anyhow, the day after each I found out that an aunt of mine was getting married, and that we were going to the wedding. Messed up eh? I don't know if I believe in predicting the future in any way, but that is one hell of a coincidence. Also, I must have hated weddings as a kid to have that imagery represent them.
