Thread: My 3rd ld (several minutes) + comment & questions

Well ever since i've been trying to have lds, i've been doing stuff in my dreams that hasn't ever happened before, such as: eating food in my dreams( i always woke up before i had a chance to eat anything), using the internet and computer, reading, watching movies, babysitting my siblings, etc.

ok so i havent even been trying to ld the last several days and i had my 3rd ld last night(my first 2 only lasted seconds) and this one lasted several minutes. In my previous ld's i just just all of a sudden realized i'm dreaming at of the blue. In this ld i noticed that the scenery had changed, and then changed again, when i looked away(this is a first because the scene Often changes, but i Never noticed). I'm only telling the last part of my extremely long dream where i notice something strange and finally become lucid and check out stuff.

In the latter part of my dream I was standing on a house roof with some ppl and part of my family, since i've just been staring at the changes i lie and say i never really noticed the view-which at first was a grean meadow with an old shed, then the meadow was riased above its surroundings dozens of feat, then there was a lake/ocean on the left, a big city beyond with sky scrapers, and the houses in line with our house were all floating in water(just like the boat houses in San Francisco). So i go inside to investigate, the house is old, and each room is separated by doors(not a lot of open space just like 20's houses) and so the rooms arent very lit up. I see patio(not there before) thru a small window, then i notice i'm waering a nice white dress that i have never even seen in real life. I don't fell like searhing for a door, when i don't even know where it's at, so i just swing out the window( i've gone thru plenty of windows but never swinging, lol), even though i'm wearing a dress and theres 2 guys standing in the patio. I realize i've seen them before in the dream, one sorta looks like David Wenham(faramir) and the other guy in his 20's. I go to a door on the left which is open, I open a sort of closet door inside where theres the strangest and smallest bathroom i've ever seen. instead of a faucet handles theres a little stone drawer, its really nicer and sorta ancient looking(its pale green or red with white stripes), then i see a water fountain on the wall in the mirror's spot with running water, the toilet is the only ordinary thing but its facing a weird wayjust to fit in the small space. During the time that i've been examining the bathroom, i thought it was so funny and ridiculous that i just started laughing out loud. Then I thought the 2 guys outside must think i'm really strange for hopping out a window, examining a bathroom, and then laughing my head off.
So then i notice that theres a door in the tiny bathroom, that leads to the real( and normal) bath room, I start to walk away, but then decide to see how my face looks in a mirror in a dream( the frst Rc i've ever done-even though i already knew i was dreaming). My face is blurry, it sorta looks like my eyes are closed, my eyebrows are the clearest thing, and i notice my hair is in a ponytail, i only look for a moment because i personally think its scary. so i finally walk away to do somehing else and i think how long it will take to forget about the scary mirror. *** ok so i want to say here i have no facination with bathrooms, this is the 1st time in which investigate a bathroom(in dream or real life), it just happened to be behind the door i wanted to examine things in** I look out the patio to the changed scenery with the extremely steep edges, but i see that there are tons of ppl down there and a lot are actually able to walk down the cliff. I go back inside the house, since the sun is beginning to set which makes the rooms inside weven darker, i see an old friend, ( we are not friends anymore). I ask her why we aren't friends anymore, i want to know what she thinks, i ask her about 5 five questions( in the middle of which i realize how stupid this is since its only a dream) but she doesnt even say a word she only looks annoyed and angry. Since its a dream and she ahsnt said a word i walk away while calling her a bitch. So realize that i'm still lucid without even trying any techniques, so i justy say i'm dreaming out loud. I go into another room(the biggest rm i've come across so far in that house) its unfurnished and it looks more like a basement since the wall are made of cement. I see an uncle walk by. Then i see my siter with her freind or our cousin and they are both covered in different colored goop( like waterballoons filled with paint) and they're happy and laughing and i notice the kids(some are randome and some are my younger siblings) and the walls are also splattered with dofferent colored paints. And i regret not walking here earlier because thay have already finished playing. So i walk outside using a different door, the back door, and the back of the house is a total forest, witrh a broad path. My dad and some of my siblings(no longer covered in paint) are with him. Then i remember that I had been carrying my baby sister in the middle part of my dream and i had lost track of her when i noticed the scenery changed, so i decided to look for her, so that nothing would happen to her, even though i knew it was only a dream, so i went back thru the basement room to the patio, looking, then just went back out to the ofrest since i couldn't find her. so as i was walking on the forest path(i had passed my dad and siblings) i hear my sister cry and then i see her walkiing toward me, then i feel myself waking up, i'm in my bed awake now and i again hear my baby sister cry from my parents room.

Ok i know this ld probably sounds kinda boring but at least i didnt forget i was dreaming 2 seconds later like the 1st lds. i didnt try to change or control anything, since clarity said beginners should just explore at first, which is exactly what I did. Ok so are most other ppl's ld's misty or something( i've seen some ppl asking how to make their dreams more vivid), because mine was just as real looking as all my regular dreams???

The other thing thats strange is that i never thoufht i'm dreaming out of the blue or just knew intantly, its like i noticed the scenery change, but did not think it was a dream i just knew it was really weird. I'm thinking that somehow i just gradually came to realize i was dreaming, without it ever just surprising me. I dont even know when i realized i was dreaming i only know that before i looked in the mirror i had already known i was dreaming for awhile. So has this ever happened to other ppl where they never have this sudden moment they know they are dreaming, it kinda of just grows on them till they dont know when they knew it was a dream???
