      I'm a newbie...

Hi everyone, my name is Jake and I just discovered this place yesterday. I read all about lucid dreams and actually tried to have one, but it didn't work. I did recall about 4 dreams I had last night and woke up and wrote them in a spiral notebook I found. This place is really cool. I have had lots of lucid dreams in my life and I didn't know there was a name for them. I found that I am really good at recalling dreams I've had during the night. Well thanks for reading what I had to say and, well....sweet dreams. lol. Jake

Hey Jake, welcome aboard Most people do have lucid dreams in their life without inducing them or really thinking much of them, it's really good when people actually decide to take an interest in them. Have you taken a look at the tutorials yet? http://www.dreamviews.com/tutorials.php Take a look at those and decide which one(s) you wanna try. (The MILD works best for most people). If you ever need any specific help, feel free to contact me.

      Welcome Jake!

Intentionally inducing a dream takes a bit of practice sometimes, but it comes easier to some than others
What helps is that you know what to expect, since you've had them before.

Also be careful of assuming that all the techniques work equally for everyone. Perhaps try MILD as deathwaud suggests, but keep the options open to find the method that works best for you personally.
Unfortunately the only way of figuring that out is to try a couple of them

      Welcome Jake!!

Let us know how it goes.

For me, I think WILD works best, though it's supposedly the hardest one to achieve. Simpler methods just don't work for me.
