Immediate LD using mp3 - but a few qns!

      Hiyya,
Been browsing DV for a while now and encouraged by the results I decided to jump the gun, skip all the beginner steps (not strictly true, I've been trying out other methods and doing RCs quite abit), and tried out the mp3 over here

      http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...=16697&page=21

Went to bed at 12:30 woke at 3:30, set my pda volume to 5% and went back to bed with my Sennheisers around my head. So I remember doing an RC at some point after (pinching my nose trying to breathe and being able to, and looking at my mobile phone and seeing blurry wierd chars) after which I wasn't quite sure what to do so I sort of lay "awake" on my bed. My first instinct was to fly so I looked at my window and tried "willing" to fly but nothing happened. I then tried to open my eyes and got up to try to walk but as soon as I opened them I was awake again (did an RC - failed). Thing is, I'm not sure whether I was dreaming doing the successful RC or actually doing it... was the whole thing just a dream lol.

Anyway, the lucid experience aside I seem to recall having loads of dreams last night and remembering quite a few of them. I don't know whether I was actually having an LD or dreaming having one if that makes any sense? Also, how do you "do" stuff and have control? Thanks!

Hi and welcome to the site.

Sounds like an interesting experience you had with that dream.
Control and the ability to 'do stuff' comes with more practice. I think it'd be better if you did practice some of the beginner steps, they build a solid foundation for you to work from.
Using a lucid aid is find and dandy too but what happens should you lose access to said aid? You'll be stuck at square one having to do all the beginner stuff to get some lucidity back.

      Just my two cents.
