Thread: Almost Lucid?

Last night when I was falling asleep I think I came pretty close to a Lucid Dream!!

As I was falling asleep, I wasn't really paying attention, I was really tired and I wasn't going to attempt to LD. But then I noticed my mum talking to me. I don't remember about what, but I remember thinking that she wasn't in the room and that I was probably falling asleep. Then I started to feel all tingly and heavy, like if I tried I wouldn't have been able to move my body. I tried to wait until I was sure I could enter a dream, but as I've never successfully done it before I didn't know how long to wait and I ended up opening my eyes a moment too soon and just fell into regular sleep. Was this the beginning of an LD?
