Finally Dropping By

I've always come to these boards. Usually it's just to read tips on "attaining lucidity" and maybe some dream stories. I like the whole dream task the board has going. But anyways, I finally decided to register and maybe begin putting myself in DreamViews.

I'm 17, going to be 18 in May 2008.

Lucidity is hard to come by for me nowadays. It's really rare and sometimes I just suddenly stumble into it. I can't remember my last lucid dream. Proof of how long it's been. Lately however, I've been having really memorable dreams. Really vivid, colorful images. All I want it some sort of plot.

I've always wanted that epic dream that puts me in the role I could never fulfill in real life.

But it's really hard. I just want some sort of storyline to my dreams. I like nightmares somewhat. Of course, while I'm in them I don't like them, but when I wake up, I love them for not being real. Afterwards, however, I feel that I could've faced whatever fear instead of yelling myself awake. (Yeah that happens sometimes.)

My goal is to be able to become lucid much more often. I know it's not going to be some off and on power. I also want to be able to fulfill maybe a task or two just for fun. But most of all, I want a storyline in my dream. But for that I need one of the biggest aspects in lucid dreaming: Control. I can't make shit fly out of thin air, unfortunately. But then again, it's been a while since I've been lucid. So we'll see.

Thanks man. And yeah, I'm glad to see a fellow Mars Volta fan. Bedlam in Goliath will kick ass.

But yeah, thanks everyone, I hope I get my "epic" dream as well.
