      Introduction - CaptainDoe

      Hello there everyone.
I'm David and I live in Brazil, but I'm from Sweden.
A couple of days ago I had a dream that really touched me, a dream that made me feel like I've never felt before. I wasn't Lucid dreaming though, but that dream made me so interested in the world of dreaming so I started looking up information about dreaming frantically. And here I am today, registering at this site to try to achieve lucid dreaming. I've kept a Dream Journal for a couple of days, I've remembered one dream / night but yesterday night I accomplished to remember four dreams, all with great detail. My dreams are really strange and in weird scenarios, so I should be able to know that it's a dream, but when I'm asleep it just seems that I accept my role in the dream and don't think more about it.

I hope that my time here on this forum will enlighten my sleeping time.
      Thank you for your time!

      Welcome to Dreamviews, David!

It's great to hear that you've started a Dream Journal - those help both dream recall and lucidity. If you haven't seen this already, you can keep a dream journal online here at Dreamviews, so that others can comment and provide encouragement.

Feel free to ask if you have any questions.

      Thanks Webmaster.
Yeah I might just do that. I've read several guides on the forum and I found a really really interesting podcast from Steve Pavlina's website about Lucid dreaming, and they gave several tips so I'll try those ones as well.

Has anyone heard his podcast about Lucid dreaming??

I've never heard of it... sounds cool though. Does he talk about techniques, or what?

      Thanks Clairity.
I've looked through your WILD tutorial and I'm going to try it tonight, I'll give you feedback about it tomorrow.

I also have a question. I spent a week in Chile, without a TV, computer or any other disturbance in my room, and I had a fantastic dream recall and everything. But yesterday I came back to my apartment and I had my computer on during the night, it blinks and sounds, and I had no dream recall what so ever. Do you think it's because of the computer blinks and sounds or can it be magnetic electricity or something like that that disturbs my recall?

Some people say that sleeping in a different place increases recall and lucidity. Maybe that's why.
