      Im new and i had a very scary experience! Help :(

      Im new to this thing about lucid dreaming, so i joined this forum to get some knowledge and try to lucid dream.

      I had a very scary experience like a year ago and i would like to know what it was.

      My room was all dark, so i was laid down and i start to look to a corner from the roof and walls, a very dark spot, i keep my eyes on it (not blinking for some time) and that spot was getting darker and darker and i noticed that my vision was getting darker too, soon i got like blind and a feel seconds later i couldnt feel my whole body, then i try to get up and i was numb, so i sat on my bed and had that strange feeling for like half-hour. I wasnt trying to lucid dreaming or so because i learnt about it a lot time after this happened.

      Is this related to SP, WILD or so? Someone can try it?

      Yes what happened was sp, its not dangerous and it happens every time you dream, but normally you are unconscious.

      As Sugarglider said, it was sleep paralysis. Nothing to worry about - it happens every night. People who WILD consciously induce the state.

      Well its quite scary.

      Ill tell you guyz a secret ok xD?

      After that i went to the doctor because i was a bit dizzy and feeling weird.
