an RC is a test that will prove if you are awake or not. It must be physically performed in this instance...

and the piano thing...dont visually/aurally imagine playing the piano...its about moving your fingers softly as if playing the piano

no, just make the index finger and the fuck you finger go up and down like playing a piano with two fingers, or something else. just make them move a little bit. the nose RC is when you put the fingers on your nose and make it impossible to breath through the nose. if you're dreaming you will be able to breath even when your haveing your fingers pinchingthe nose/in the nose XD.
i don't useually do the nose RC when trying to FILD. if you ever had a lucid dream you might know how to fly. try to fly instead so you don't have to move and ruin the whole thing.

if i am dreaming, i will feel like i am physically pinching my nose and breathing, but if am still awake, ill be like WTF? i cant breathe and probably open my eyes or something.
