      noise

hey, im fairly new, ive had a lucid dream and i was wondering if noise would effect anything. i like to sleep with the heater or fan on just for the noise cuz it helps me fall asleep. it may seem strange but it helps and i'd like to know if it effects my dreaming.

im new as well, and i was wondering the same thing about music. it seems to keep my mind from wandering... does anyone else use sound to help them fall asleep/dream? it seems like sound could affect dreams. somewhere on this forum i read that you can get some sort of brain wave emitter, which could help you have a lucid dream? (is this the same thing as sound??)

You can use Brainwave Generator, has some presets you can use to help with sleeping or whatever else.

I usually have music or some form of background noise going on when I go to sleep, I find it helps me to relax!

Not sure if this has any affect on dreams though, I would think perhaps leaving the TV on or something could have an affect, because even though we are sleeping we can still hear what is going on around us.

I sometimes listen to a subliminal MP3 or some brainwave generator presets before I go to bed. Often find I have good lucids the nights I use these things.

White noise will not distrurb your dreams, unless you let it..
