      Newb~2nd Post

      Hello all~ I'm newb.

This is actually my second post. I joined for a reason, and then I stayed on to feed my curiosity.
My dreams suck at the moment. Some restless nights with no dreams.. then I wake up and remember multiple dreams of the weirdest things you could think of! Totally random.
My most annoying dream that seems to haunt me is a dream where I trip and wake up feeling like I'm going to fall over. Ugh.

      . . .

You felt like you were still falling because the dream part of the brain stays on for a moment after you wake up. Anymore questions ask, we're nice here.

      Hiya and welcome!

The tripping up dream is common, they happen when you're very tired i think. We all have them and i love them!

      Do you keep dream journals?

Hi and welcome to Dream Views.

Cammy beat me to the dream journal question and now I have to rethink my whole welcome strategy.

      *thinks hard*

Glad you found us and glad we can help feed your curiosity. If you're looking for ways to get to lucid dreaming maybe give Seeker's tutorial a read. It's got all the stuff you need to get off to a good start, located >>HERE<<

      That's called a hypnic jerk.
If you have them upon falling asleep often enough, they can be good grounds for using lucid dream induction techniques, I imagine, since having a hypnic jerk basically means you're on the verge between waking and sleep.

      Oh, and greets and welcome!

Leave it to Merlock to pick up on the important thing I missed, making me look like a lousy dream guide.

      Welcome Star...

Sorry that your dreams suck at the moment.

I hope you stick around. The site has really helped me focus on dreaming, and I remember so many more dreams than I ever used to. And I was just mentioning in another post a few minutes ago that I used to have flying dream once a year or less, but since joining this site I have them all the time. One of the keys is keeping a dream journal.

Plus, I have learned to LD since coming here. This is really a great place....
