      irritated

ok i have done licid dreaming a year ago but i stoped i was pretty good at it but i want to start again. so for a week i have been remembering dreams at least 2 or 3 a night. but the past 2 days i have gotten less sleep. it seems that my dreams are a uncontroled slide show ill go from one to the next. i know dreams are to do this but i am remembering the "slide show" while awake and it is irritating me. so whats with this?

      Hey .. Firstly, Welcome

My guess would be that the dreams are of interest to you, and your subconscious. For that reason, you keep replaying it in your head without necessarily wanting to

Thats normally a good thing - it makes lucid dreaming easier (which might be why you got quite good)
But I understand that it can be irritating.

Perhaps you're overdoing the recall tricks? (If you're using any tricks?)
Otherwise.. I'm not entirely sure how to cure this - I'm normally helping people have it

Ah well... enjoy the site. Hope someone else here has better advice than me

      Hey welcome to DV docthory!!!!!!!

Hmmmmmmmm...I would say that the less sleep you mentioned could be a problem as well. My dreams are always haywire and out of control when I get too little sleep...assuming I remember them at all! If I get between 7-8 hours of sleep, I do much better. Just curious, how less is "less sleep"?

      Hey welcome to the forums!

I would say that if the only thing you've changed is your sleep pattern that would be the problem. Try getting more sleep and see how that turns out. If it still doesn't help, maybe it's just you are getting too stressed over wanting to lucid dream again.
