      Just an Introduction

      Hello all,

I am new here, just joined tonight!

I've been having lucid dreams my whole life...and can even control them to a certain extent. But I am only now realizing that there is the potential for something greater than a great dream. LD's are wonderful...but becasue I had no idea that's what they were, they could often be perplexing. I am really excited about gaining a deaper insight, understanding and level of control to my LD's.

To tell you the truth, it's just really great to realize that there are other people out here who also have LD's...when they started in childhood, I didn't realize that I could take control of my dreams. This is something I have only just learned tonight. They have become increasingly...powerful (for lack of a better word.) and I needed to find some answers to my questions.

I have enjoyed reading many of the posts and look forward to getting to know all of you.

      to DV!

Remember, lucid dreams aren't defined by the amount of control you have... you must realize during the dream that you are dreaming for it to qualify as a LD. That's awesome that you have experience with control tho!

Yes and yes, lol! That was part of the problem...there were times when they could have been lucid...but as soon as I realized I was dreaming, I woke up. And other times that I knew I was dreaming, but didn't even realize that I could control anything other than myself. When I have had control...it seems to have been by chance, not by choice...if that makes any sense!

No, I just learned about all of this tonight. A friend of mine used the term "Lucid Dream" as though I should have known about it. I started doing research this evening and it brought me here. I am really excited to start my journal and have people to go to that don't think I'm crazy when I try to describe my dreams.
