Yes, you can feel things perfectly in dreams. |

It's just like real life. But you can do the impossible. |

*nod* yah pretty much sensation is the same; touch, hear, taste (sometimes its different) etc... |

"“Evil? Good? These are merely words. In the eyes of the universe neither of those exist. There are only three elements, that act as a base for all that you see around. There is Light. There is Dark. And there is the balance between those two. Good and Evil are concepts, used to deny oneself from serving the balance. By serving, you participate in the great creation."
-Eddeon, Avatar of the Balance
As the others have said, dreams are usually just as real - if not more real - than real life. |

hmmmm interesting i just need to find a way to fall asleep faster now.. |

If you haven't seen it already, the VILD technique is a good way to make use of this time. It can help you get to sleep faster, is a good lucid-inducing technique, and it can be rather fun to try to design your own dream! |
|
I love doing that too! But sometimes the rising feeling in my stomach wakes me up, lol. |
|
hmmmm maybe ill use them to learn to talk to the girl i like without panicing lol |
|
Yeh, that could be good practice for the actual thing. Good luck! |

Hmmm, I've had one where I understand where people are coming from by "more real." I'm just taking a wild guess at this; it isn't based on any science! Imagine, if you will, a world. How does it look? Now think about this, what we see is obviously controlled by how we see it. For example, just because you can't see behind you does not mean there is nothing there at the moment. Likewise, just because you aren't experiencing something doesn't mean it isn't happening. Also, those imperfections in our vision that may occur aren't physically there. Common sense says that nobody else sees your floaters. Colors appear to change by the strength of lighting (notice how hard it is to tell colors in low light). Feeling something can differentiate on various parts of the body based on their sensitivity. However, when you are dreaming you could observe the world purely (however still limited by what the brain knows of course) without these restraints. For example, theoretically you could see all around you. Your vision can be as perfect as you can imagine. Those annoying and floaters and flickers don't have to exist. You can see bright colors in the dark or in the light. You can feel as well on your back as you do on the bottoms of your feet. |
|
I guess it can feel more real when you have, lets say more body parts then you should. EXAMPLE : Wings. Because you can actually control them and feel them. Thus giving you a supernatural sensation? |

If you know someone very, very well and you have good dream control, you should be able to create a reasonably good represenation of them. However, most of us don't know a lot of people well enough to create their personalities in a dream. Even if you do know someone very well, the dream representation of them will be influenced by how you expect them to react. |
