post natal natural wondering how to get it back

Hi everyone, I am new here....I was wondering if anyone has any advice on how to regain the LD ability. For as long as I can remember I have been able to LD fairly easily including the sleep paralyzation/ two bodies. Ever since I was pregnant and had my son it seems to have dissapeared I was wondering has anyone else experienced this.
....Its nice to seem that I am not as weird as I thought....Growing up in a fundemental Christian home things like controlling dreams were considered new age and devilish. I was led to believe that I was different (not in a good way). Anyways enough with the babble...can anyone help me?

I have never been pregnant so have never experienced this exact thing. Sometimes though, everyone has non-lucid spells from Stress, lack of sleep, or maybe in a woman’s case, hormones. Just takin a guess there but really it could be a mix of all three considering you have a new baby.

I also grew up in a very religious family but dreaming was never an issue. I must say though... that if lucid dreaming is "new age and devilish"... then well we are all going straight to hell!!! No only joking about that... I don't think it's that at all!!!! You are not different in a bad way but in a GREAT way... as is everyone else on this forum!

I know i wrote all that and didn't help much but feel free to contact me any time if you would like to talk about it!!!

Hey there, welcome to the boards!

Well, right off the bat I have great confidence that you will regain your ability, especially since you were a natural to begin with. It might just be a matter of trying out various techniques, just to get you back in the swing of things.

How old is your son now?

      Hi there and welcome!
I'm pretty sure you will regain your ability to LD - you're body needs as much serious rest as possible at the moment and is probably on total shut-down when you finally can get sleep! Also, if your little one has been waking up a lot (mine woke up every hour for the first few months!) your ability to LD may be affected by a lack of deep sleep.

My son is now nearly three but for the first year after he was born I stopped experiencing episodes of sleep paralysis which I normally have several times a week. I also had zero dream recall and suspect I may have been dreaming much less than usual due to shallow sleeping. I'm now back to my full quota of SP, OBEs, nightmares etc so there is hope!!?
