I had that the first couple of days. Well.. I guess just try not to think about it! I know that's easier said than done. Are you using any special techniques, like WBTB? Because if you wake up about 5-6 hours after going to bed and try something like WILD/MILD whatever, you might be too tired to be excited.

Okay, let's see if I can explain it differently.

      WILD:
You sleep for 5-6 hours, wake up, stay up for 30-60 mins. Then lay down and think about lucid dreaming, and keep up your concentration. After a while, you might start to feel vibrations or see HI. The idea is that you will consciously move from waking to dream world.

      MILD:
When you first lie down, think to yourself, "I will wake up after every dream period and remember my dream." When you wake up some time later in the night/morning, write down your dream. Lay back down and picture yourself in that dream, and imagine yourself recognizing a dreamsign as you fall asleep.

      Is that still confusing?

MILD and WILD are all part of the 'wake induced' category of LDing (IMO).

Simplistically, its about staying 'aware' of yourself while falling asleep, into a dream.

Unless otherwise stated, views expressed in this post are not necessarily representative of the official Dream Views stance. Hell, it's probably not even representative of me.

Even with a MILD? It doesn't specify that in the tutorials.

Then is there really a difference between the two?

      Technically WILD is more direct.

MILD is not directly wake-induced but has the gist of it.
