      Hey Hey

Well this is a bit of an intro.

My names Jason. Im 18 and I live in Australia.
Im currently studding engineering at UQ. I have always had a large interest in the mind and subconsciousness. I have always like to analyse my dreams, but it had only been recently that i have started a dream journal, I did it as a new years resolution Ive been pretty good at it. But it gets hard to motivate my self at 3 in the morning to go right down a couple of pages...

I have always had trouble getting to sleep though, my mind tends to wonder and get stuck thinking about stuff thats troubling me, ie uni work, getting project car on the road, family troubles ect ect. But thats seems to be getting better, I use Valerian root to help ease sleep.

About a year ago i started doing some research to help lucid dreaming and i came to this point about a plant Calea zacatechichi. So I got my self a little one and now its huge and provided me with enough gross tea as I need. I find it works a couple of nights after. I take 5 leaves, then the next night take another 5, and can feel/hear my heart beating my my cheast and head. Hynogonic imagery is very clear and dreams become scarily vivid and its some times takes a bit of thought the next day to think was it a dream of real memory.

At the same time i got my little Calea plant i was browsing the forum of the site of got it off (shamans aus) and something got my interest. The concept of 'ego death'. This had me going, so I finally got my hands on some mushrooms to have my first psychedelic experience and it was fantastic. It truely changed me for the better.

But i think thats enough for a bit of a intro and I hope to slowly put up my dream journal for all too read

      Cheers J.

Wow, thanks for the intro Serpent.

As far as easy sleeping goes, i've always been able to clear my head, so I don't know much about this plant you described. As ninja said, it will help your dream recall ALOT if you motivate yourself to write them down.
If you haven't had your first lucid dream yet, you don't truly know the feeling. Once you get that feeling though, you will find yourself easily motivated to write in the dream journal everyday.

As far as mushrooms go, I've never dabbled in drugs past marijuana, but I can say that nature-made drugs aren't as horrifying in a controlled area. While I dismiss any ideas about cocaine, heroine, meth, etc etc, I would accept the possibility of trying something made by nature (weed, mushrooms, salivia).

Thanks for your intro! If you need any help, you can PM me or reply here.
