You know, I have had quite a few experinces where I was aware of my body when I was lucid dreaming. But then I had this experience that made me wonder if it was all in my head. In that particular dream I became lucid and started to fly. There was suddenly music playing really loudly. I wanted to turn it off. I felt sure that the music was playing in real life and thought I could be clever enough to turn it off IRL and remain in the dream. I was aware of my physical body and reached up and turned off the radio and continued with the dream. I was so proud of myself for being able to do that without disrupting the dream-- until I woke up and realized that the radio that I had turned off was my car radio--that I had reached for it from the driver's seat.

Of course when I woke up I wasn't in the car. But I was soo sure I had felt my physical body while in that dream. So I don't know...maybe at least part of the time we are just thinking that we are aware of our bodies. Which makes sense because if we are fully lucid then we know our actual body is in bed. So maybe if it is a mental thing we could figure out ways to ignore that "physical feeling".

Anyway..that's just my little ramble for the day.
