      Accidental First DILD!!

Ok guys, so I had found this site probably like 4 Months ago, and kinda wanted to try it. Well long story short, it never worked for me, even a tape that was supposed to help induce it. So I gave up, but I still remembered everything apparently. And I eventually became skeptical and stopped trying, but this changed everything.

I remember having a highly vivid dream (hadn't attained lucidity yet), and I was at like some sort of Japanese Buffet with a bunch of friends. As I was getting my food, my friend yells to me to check out this hella cool picture on his laptop, and the second that I clicked on the picture, I immediately fell into the picture and it became real. The picture was out in the middle of the ocean, at sunset, except instead of the seeing the sun, I remember seeing the most real, and vivid face of Christ smiling (NOT LYING), with beams of light all around his shining on me, and I remember feeling more relaxed, happy, and carefree , than I had ever felt before in real life and I was reaching for him (this was the point that I had attained lucidity.) I remember seeing this image, but then it was like I teleported into a movie theater (with that image on the screen actually), on a date with a friend, that had happened the night before, everyone was getting up, like the movie was over, so we got up and left. As soon as we get out of the theater, she darts over to the restroom, and I actually had to take a pee, but then I didn't want to cuz I realized it was a dream . But then I remember talking to this one random girl, and then I slowly began to drift out of my dream and woke up in my bed...I began to pinch my self to see if I was awake...I WAS STILL IN THE DREAM. Now at this point, I had dream control and everything, and I wanted to steal very nice Lambo, over a few blocks away, the dream was so real, that I had to do reality checks(read a book(impossible text was jumping around soo fast), checked the time on my clock and cell phone, time was jumping around even faster with every blink) to make sure I was dreaming (didn't want to go to jail.) So I run out of my room, and my dad calls to me to talk to me about something and I couldn't hear a word that he said, I eventually figured out that he was asking if I had my cell phone, I said yes, and darted out of the house. Now I wanted to go down the street and get my friend, and take him on a joyride with me. As I was running I decided to jump off the curb (6-7 feet in the air) and land on a bike that wasn't there before. So as I was pedaling down the street to my friends house, it finally hit me. I wanted to fly more than anything, so I got off the bike and tryed to jump off the ground, and eventually I was floating a few feet off the ground, I tryed kinda swimming upward, and that didn't work, so I did like a superman mid-air take off and that shot me up like probably 1500-3000 feet in the air, which at first was kinda scary, but the view was amazing, VERY realistic. Unfortunately, at that time I stopped floating and began to fall at full speed (INTENSE), and I landed on the ground. As soon as I landed I realized that police were coming after me for some odd reason..and there was a nice car a few feet away, so me and my friends (who had come over to try to catch me) ran over to the car, and as soon as I touched the car, I woke up (and had to do reality checks cuz I couldn't tell the difference .)

I didn't really have a sense of time during this whole thing, but I'm guessing it lasted for like 20-30 Minutes..and man, was it amazing. I can fully say that I am no longer a skeptic, and looking forward to trying to attain more lucidity.

Also, toward the end of the dream I could kinda feel my body, and my arms were kinda limp, yet slightly twitchy, and I kinda felt like I was falling off my bed....is that normal and should I expect it to happen everytime?

Wow, it sounds like you had an AWESOME first lucid. You got a lot of things done in that, you even managed to fly. Not many people can do that on there first lucid. You had great control throughout that whole dream.

      to DV btw

(I sounded weird in that post)

Awesome job! That was a long first lucid with good control.

Well long story short, it never worked for me, even a tape that was supposed to help induce it. So I gave up, but I still remembered everything apparently. And I eventually became skeptical and stopped trying, but this changed everything.
That's funny, because I sort of went through the same thing. I read all the things on this site for several weeks, and when nothing happened to me, I decided that it was all fake. And the night I decided to give up I had my first LD. Interesting the way that works...

VERY realistic. Unfortunately, at that time I stopped floating and began to fall at full speed (INTENSE), and I landed on the ground.
      Cool.
I do this on purpose in LDs because it's so fun. (Flying up...then letting myself just fall down.)

Also, toward the end of the dream I could kinda feel my body, and my arms were kinda limp, yet slightly twitchy, and I kinda felt like I was falling off my bed....is that normal and should I expect it to happen everytime?
That has never happened to me. But it could be that as you were starting to wake up, you were more aware of your body in bed, so your control of your body in the dream was affected.

Oh, It is really fun, and I plan to do it again because it is a huge rush, but doing it for the first time, and not even planning on doing it, scared me a little.

Yeah, it was a really, really odd feeling...except I also experienced it right before the false awakening. So could I start to feel my body while I was still asleep, and when I thought I was awake, but wasn't. I don't know, that feeling, kinda made my LD slightly unpleasant at those times.

You know, I have had quite a few experinces where I was aware of my body when I was lucid dreaming. But then I had this experience that made me wonder if it was all in my head. In that particular dream I became lucid and started to fly. There was suddenly music playing really loudly. I wanted to turn it off. I felt sure that the music was playing in real life and thought I could be clever enough to turn it off IRL and remain in the dream. I was aware of my physical body and reached up and turned off the radio and continued with the dream. I was so proud of myself for being able to do that without disrupting the dream-- until I woke up and realized that the radio that I had turned off was my car radio--that I had reached for it from the driver's seat.

Of course when I woke up I wasn't in the car. But I was soo sure I had felt my physical body while in that dream. So I don't know...maybe at least part of the time we are just thinking that we are aware of our bodies. Which makes sense because if we are fully lucid then we know our actual body is in bed. So maybe if it is a mental thing we could figure out ways to ignore that "physical feeling".

Anyway..that's just my little ramble for the day.
