Wild? Sp? What do they mean?

Could someone explain what Wild Sp and other common terms around here stand for and mean? I searched and found out Sp was when you relax until your body falls asleep, I tried this now and my hands went completley numb, it was crazy, as I thought I was in SP I tried to move my hand, it was slow at first but I regained control and now im typing here Thanks

WILD- Wake Induced Lucid Dream Wild is a techinque that requires you to enter the dream world consciously, by confusing your brain into thinking your body has gone to sleep. SP- Sleep Paralysis SP is the body's natural paralyzing action that happens everytime you go to sleep. You are paralyzed, which keeps you from moving around while you are dreaming.

How long does it take to get into sp? I just tried laying down for about 15 minutes, I got all numb and all, waited for what felt like an eternity, my mind got annoyed of itself and I had to get out of it...

Welcome to the forum! Well if you look in the Tutorials Section you will see lots of handy information that you need. There's a handy Acronyms list too. SP can take a while, sometimes it can take half an hour +. Irishcream made a great SP tutorial that you might want to check out here.
