Hi bob, that is an awesome start to lucid dreaming considering you didn't have good recall!

Clairity has given you all the links you pretty much need. I suggest that you start a dream journal and continue using self hypnotism.

      That's a great start.
Keep dream journaling and you'll start remembering more dreams, even multiple dreams a night.

      thanks for the feedback guys!

i have started writing down all my dreams. i have a notebook thing i keep stuck in the side of my bed.

also i woke up twice after dreaming last night to write it down.

gotta be careful not to get too into it though. dont want to spend all day at school waiting to go back to sleep. D:

EDIT: Also, thanks for the links. I'll check them out.

EDIT 2: One more thing. Which would you say is the best method for LDing for a newbie? I've looking at WILDing but everyone seems to say that's one of the harder ones and from what I've read DILDing is basically random although you can increase your chances with frequent reality checks (even when you "know" you're awake) which I have started doing. FILDing looks good for me as I seem to be waking up after dreaming a lot more recently (since I've started activly trying to withthe help of various tutorials).
      What do you think?

bob, I've read that WILDing is the most difficult but some newbies do achieve it.

I would say try DILD, MILD or FILD. If one of them doesn't work after a week or so, there will be many more nights ahead to try the next one. Good luck and sweet lucids.
