Hi, i have been browsing these forums for about 5 days and decided to sign up I have read around the tutorials section and i know about most techniques. I hadn't heard of lucid dreaming before i found these forums.
sorry for a long first post with lots of questions, but i thaught it would be easier to ask it all in one place, and give as much information as possible. Dont read the rest of this post if you don't want to.
LD informaition:
Since i found these forums i have tried various things. First 2 night i just used auto-suggestion to try and increase the chances of a LD but with no succes, and the next 3 i used MILD, which worked amazingly to help my recall. no luck with LD yet though but im trying not too rush into it too much. I think i am trying too many techniques at the same time, last night i went for a FILD + DILD while still telling myself i will wake up (with MILD). didnt work lool (except the MILD part of it, but still not as good). Maybe also just because i was in a different bed?
After waking up after a dream i usually try a few techniques then, but not sure if this is the best time, MILD wakes up after REM right? so that makes it no better than doing the technique when i first go to bed. correct me if i'm wrong.
Havent started a DJ yet but plan to. without a DJ i remembered 6 dreams (1 very barely) in the first 2 nights (of MILD). Would have remembered more if i had a DJ. Last night i had pen and paper ready, but that was the night i didn't do very well, so was no good anyway ^^
Would like to attempt a WILD, but have heard about SP much before finding these forums, and I dont really want to try SP yet, as my first impressions on it were meeting an alien in the room and feeling a presence, which would scare me to death lol. As that is my initial oppinion that would most likely be the outcome, but i'm still tempted to go for it.
I think im doing ok but i just want a bit of input if anything could be done better, or any advice. Sorry for so much detail which probbably mostly isn't needed. ^^
