What's going on? I walk on water, use telekenesis, fly into space, & walk through walls

      Hello,

I'm new to this site and I wanted to share my dreaming experiences with others and hopefully gain some insight and understanding into what's going on.

I've had wild dreams since I was old enough to talk and tell my mother about them. As a young child I had terrible nightmares & would wake up screaming all the time. My dreams were mainly about a dragon that was chasing me. My mother told me to try confronting what was chasing me in my dreams.

That's when I first started taking control of my dreams, or trying to have lucid dreams. I'm 26yrs old now and I have dreaming experiences that most people just don't relate to.

For instance: I can walk on water in my dreams, I can dissolve myself and walk through walls or any solid object, I levitate or fly at will (I've flown into outerspace & looked back at Earth, I've flown to the sun and gone through it's surface), I am powerfully telekentic (I move objects by thought). I can transform into other creatures and change my physical appearance. I can shoot lightening and fire from my hands.

From what I'm reading "lucid dreaming" seems to be when you know you are sleeping and have control. Well I have control but all of these experiences seem incredibly real. The colors, sounds, textures, I interact with people, I have conversations, I've read full books about different subjects, I've visited other countries in different time periods.

I've learned that the body is physically experiencing what the mind is imagining and I know that from experience. These dreams are intense and I wake up sweating all over, when I first get woken up it's like a shock to my system. I'll be very groggy, I can't think or concentrate, and I can hardly walk around.

As a child my parents told me that I would regularly walk in my sleep, I've only had my husband tell me of one time as an adult that I walked in my sleep and talked to him. I can also wake up from a dream just enough to go to the bathroom and then when I lay back down go back into the dream I was having. This seems cool but it's really annoying when you are having a bad dream and you can't get out of it.

I'm an extremely light sleeper, I wake up suddenly at the slightest disturbance (exp. I wake up gasping sitting straight up). I don't need to hear anything to wake up I can sense when someone is walking near me. I toss and turn & kick and shake while sleeping. I thought there was supposed to be muscle paralysis during dreaming (not for me). I had a dream once where I was spitting on a guy and woke up and I had spit all over my pillow (yuck).

I may have several vivid, active dreams a night, when I wake up I have great recall of the events. I find that I will look directly at people in my dreams but upon awakening I can only remember their bodies and not their faces.

      To clarify:
#1. I have been to a professional doctor & had a sleep study performed to determine if I had sleep apnea, or any underlying medical problem that would affect my sleeping. (I had no problems what so ever - but he prescribed me some lunesta to help me sleep.)

#2. I regularly exercise and am in great shape, I do yoga 2 x's a week, and I meditate to clear my mind.

#3. I have a very comfortable tempurpedic bed, I turn down the temperature at night, I use one of those white noise machines, I sleep without a night-light, and I sleep by myself. (I haven't been able to share a bed with my husband for 6 yrs because he snores)

#4. I have a regular sleeping schedule & I don't drink coffee, I do drink about 2 sodas during the day currently. However, I've quit caffeine cold turkey before to see if that was causing my dreams and I would still have amazing dreams.
