      WILD in a Dream?

      Last night, I was undecided whether I should WILD or not, as it still kind of freaks me out. I woke up in the middle of the night, and started chanting something (it was nonsense) in my head. I heard a strange sound that got louder and louder, and I think I started dreaming something about two tall buildings. (It wasn't a lucid dream.) Then I woke up and it was morning. So, do you think I was dreaming that I WILDed or did I actually WILD? It did seem to have a sort of dreamlike quality when I WILDed, but that could be just since I was groggy.

      You didn't WILD since by definition a WILD is a wake induce lucid dream.. No lucid dream, no WILD.

      You did, apparenty, experience some hypnagogia that suggests you maintained consciousness into the onset of sleep paralysis, but then fell asleep.

      It seems like a WILD, just without the L. Though it may have been a WILD and you simply lost lucidity too fast to register. Keep trying though! Defiantly sounds as if you hit a hypnogogic state.
