it could be the shock of realizing youre dreaming. Most likely is. Next time when you realize it, immediatly look at your hand. Study it. Focus all your attention on it. Soon youll be bored and will be able to reimburse yourself back into your dream. Having fun doing whatever you want!

      heres another Question

My lucid dreams are usually in high speed and have to quickly do what I need to do before I awaken, how do you control that??

Confidence is the key. If your afraid of waking up or having your dream move to fast, it will. Know that you're in control.

      Welcome to Dreamviews!

I don't think drinking water before bed directly helps you LD. However, if you have to get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, then that would help. The water would be waking you up for a WBTB, instead of an alarm clock doing the job.

      Thanks once again

Sorry. But just remembered another question, how do you get more then a few LD's during a months span?

And also is there any positions you need to be before you fall asleep?
Sorry if my questions are seriously stupid....
