I've read somewhere that everyone dreams, and those who think they don't just don't remember. |

I want to thank everyone for the nice welcome to the forums. I have another question. I really have trouble dreaming. I can't just fall asleep and dream, it always just happens if it happens. I've gone for weeks without having a dream (one that I can remember anyway). Sometimes I can fall asleep thinking about something and have a dream about it, but not always. I was just curious about other ways that people get themselves to dream. |

You might want to try repeating your intention to remember your dreams over and over to yourself while falling asleep. "I will remember my dreams". |

The alarm idea sounds like a good one. i'll have to try it. thanks zaphod. and i have been writing my dreams down in a notebook since i started this LD thing. it helps me remember the dreams i have, gives me a reason to remember them. do you write them in lots of detail iadr, or just the jest of them? |

Some people just sleep "too deeply". |

thanks Ev, but i don't ever really wake up during the night. If i do it's shortly after i fell asleep. And yes most of my dreams occur in the morning, close to when i would normally wake up. But i'm not taking any medication or drugs or anything depressing. i guess i'm just a deep sleeper like you said. |
