      Help with W.I.L.D.

Well last night i tried to do my first ever wild.
I did everything it said to do on the tutorial.
I went to bed at 10.Pm
Got 5 hours of sleep woke up at 3
I visualized in my head what my dream would look like and i emptied my bladder.
After that i went to my bed and went into Conscious SP. I counted my breaths using the breathing method to go clear my head. But nothing happened? More than the numbness of my body from SP

      Am i doing something wrong?

Ps. When they say you see lights do they mean white lights?

Its not so much lights you see, more just imagery which appears, refered to as HI on this site. Out of interest which WILD technique was it that you followed?

WILD isn't the easiest technique, it takes some time to lear how to do it & how to tweak it to make it work.

But nothing happened? More than the numbness of my body from SP
Maybe, you wasn't tired enought to fall asleep easily. It's also possible that your mind wasn't relaxed enough -- you need not to think about anything, that can be tricky, because trying not to think can make you think (nice paradox, isn't it?).

Ps. When they say you see lights do they mean white lights?
The color doesn'ŧ matter. Any kind of hypnagogic hallucination counts.

By the way, you are referring to SP, but what you described doesn't seem to be SP (if you mean SP = Sleep Paralysis).

      Good luck!

Experiencing uncommon problems is a way to debunk inaccurate theories and find the truth.
